Two Versions of the Crow and the Pitcher Fable

This version comes from Lev Tolstoy, though it is a translation of a translation (of a translation?) This is originally one of Aesop’s fables and I attached an alternate source below. I was struck by the art and tickled to see a pitcher play a role in a story. Some interpret the moral of the story as a reminder to use your brain to solve your problems. I also like to dwell on the lesson that we all have our specific strengths. One person might solve a problem one way, another might be unable to solve or see the same solution but likely has a method that is just as effective.
